Kanzashi is the Japanese art form of folding and stitching fabric petals, which are then used to create beautifully decorative fabric flowers. Kanzashi fabric flowers can be used to embellish and personalise hair accessories, clothing, bags, gift tags plus home decor items.
This Kanzashi Flower Maker from Clover, the manufacturer of the world's most well known and loved needlecraft accessories and tools, comes with full, easy-to-follow instructions. The sturdy plastic tool measures approximately 75mm square when open, with completed daisy-like flowers measuring 75mm/3 inches in diameter.
Suitable for use with a large range of fabrics, including most thin to regular fabric thicknesses, such as cotton, broadcloths, silk, thin satin, organdy, crepe, thin wool, and fine lace. Not suitable for use with denim, corduroy, canvas, felt, leather and other thicker fabrics.
