Learn-a-Stitch Knit Dishcloths
Learn-a-Stitch Knit Dishcloths
Here's a great way to experiment and expand your knowledge of new knitting stitches, and create a lovely handmade gift at the same time. Knitted dishcloths are all the rage at the moment, and for good reason - they're an eco-friendly way to use up small amounts of yarn, satisfying that creative urge with a quick, achievable project.
This 16 page, A4 sized, soft cover book features 6 pretty dishcloth designs, each with its own interesting stitch pattern. Each design is worked in 10 ply/aran weight cotton yarn, and is presented as a written, and where applicable, chartered pattern, with full colour photographs of each dishcloth.
A handy addition to this book is its page of metric/imperial conversions, as well as a chart converting US/Canadian knitting needle and crochet sizes into metric sizes. Now that's a bonus!
This book uses Lily Sugar 'n Cream 10 Ply Cotton (find our range here), or you can also use Lionbrand's 24/7 10 Ply Cotton (find it here). You'll also need a 4.5mm knitting needle (check out my favourite Clover ones here).
