This adjustable umbrella yarn swift is the pefect tool for every yarn lover! When used in conjunction with a ball winder, this yarn swift allows you to convert skeins of yarn into beautiful plump yarn cakes, as well as unwinding a ball,converting it into a skein (particularly handy if you're interested in dyeing yarn).
Winding your yarn into a cake helps to keep the yarn tangle free, with the added benefit of giving you the option of pulling the yarn from the centre of the ball, and also features a handy handle, allowing you to manually rotate the swift. This swift is kept secured to your table or workbench with the attached sturdy screw clamp. The swift collapses into a small configuration, allowing for easy storage.
The swift, when open, has an approximate maximum diameter of 66cm, a circumference of 167cm, a height of 43cm, with the clamp opening measuring approximately up to 4cm.
This metal and plastic swift is sold singly and comes packaged in a white cardboard box.
