Create your own beautiful piece of festive art to display in your home with this Mill Hill "Santa's Night Charmed Mitten" Counted Cross Stitch Kit. The cross stitch embroidered design is worked on easy-to-use 14 count perforated paper, further embellished with glass beads and a brass charm, then is cut out in the shape of a pretty mitten.
Perforated paper dates back to the Victorian era, and has been used by needleworkers to create embroidered pieces to be used as cards and ornaments. This paper is extremely firm and resists tearing but can be cut with scissors or a craft knife. Wrinkles can be removed using a warm iron.
Use this charming piece as a Christmas Tree ornament, gift decoration, brooch - its uses are only limited by your imagination!
