This well-made leather thimble is designed with the Sashiko embroiderer in mind, but it is so versatile, it's a great little addition to any needlecrafter's tool box!
Created for your comfort, its debossed pad and elastic strap allows almost everyone to wear it, one size fitting most. It can be easily and quickly transferred from one finger to another. No more thimbles for every finger!
This thimble can be worn to protect the palm of your hand while stitching Sashiko in the traditional manner, or the tip of your finger.
If you have difficulty wearing traditional thimbles, or have long fingernails, this is the perfect thimble solution. The leather softens with use, and the open top of the thimble leaves room for your fingernail, avoiding the discomfort of metal thimbles.
Made in Japan. This leather thimble is supplied singly in a clear, resealable cellophane bag.
